Afshar is a handwoven rug style initially produced by the Turkic Afshar tribe. Our high-quality Afshar design rugs, made from wool acquired from New Zealand, display deeply saturated dyeing techniques.
It comes as a pleasant surprise to see our own wool transformed by talented rug weavers from another part of the world into these amazing masterpieces and returned to Aotearoa.
